WINTER EXHIBIT 2024
Generations of artists have come to Vermont because of its beauty and lifestyle. Each generation has brought varied styles, techniques and aesthetics, creating a multi-faceted and dynamic art community in Vermont. In this exhibit, Arthouse has worked to captivate the different generations of Vermont artists that have influenced the Vermont art scene over the years. All of the featured artists in the Generations show have had a significant influence in helping the Vermont art world to grow into what it is today. Featured in this show are Vermont potters, sculptures, painters, glass blowers, and woodworkers - all unique mediums in and of themselves that have helped to create the vibrant and distinct visual art culture that we recognize and appreciate to this day. Art is not just visual, however; for that reason, Arthouse has also worked to feature music, performances and workshops from dedicated Vermont artists throughout the month of January. The visual artists will be featured in the space from January through March and each weekend will showcase a rotation of performance artists and classes. Arthouse acknowledges the strong sense of community throughout the Green Mountain State and has dedicated this show to continuing to connect and support all of our sensational Vermont Artists.

In this exhibit, we feature 11 Vermont Artists, ranging from otters and sculptors to painters glass blowers, and woodworkers, all representing the vibrant and varied visual art scene of Vermont.

In this exhibit, we feature 11 unique Vermont artists, ranging from potters and sculptors to painters, glass blowers, and woodworkers - all distinct mediums that have helped create the vibrant and distinct Vermont visual art culture we recognize and appreciate today. Exhibited works available for purchase include framed original art, burl wood furniture, jewelry, Raku pottery and glass hearts.

PERFORMANCE ART
To further enhance our Generations exhibit, we have invited a variety of performers, such as live bands, circus performers and dancers, to foster an energetic and playful atmosphere. We invite guests to come dance, sing and play while being surrounded by Generations artwork. Performances will be showcased in our lounge, where we also offer wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and bar snacks for your enjoyment. Check out our upcoming events here.
