Sue’s journey into ceramics is a fusion of childhood nostalgia and a passion for nurturing creativity. Growing up near her Grandparents farm in Windham, Vermont, she found inspiration in the simple joys of working with clay. These formative experiences laid the foundation for her later artistic endeavors. After dedicating over two decades to early childhood education, Sue transitioned more formally into ceramics. This shift reflects her commitment to creativity, whether in young minds or her own artistic pursuits. Operating her studio from home in East Dover allows Sue to share her expertise with others while continuing to pursue her passion for creating functional yet whimsical ceramic pieces.

Sue’s dedication to her craft shines through every aspect of her work, from the meticulous design process, to the careful selection of materials. By using stoneware clay, and food-safe glazes, she ensures that every piece not only exudes charm but also meets practical needs. Through her art, Sue continues to channel the spirit of her childhood and inspire others to explore their own creative potential.

Abby creates stained glass sculptures from her home studio in Vermont. All patterns are hand-drawn, original designs, using a traditional copper foiled stained glass method.

Robert Burch has been creating handblown glass since 1971 and is the founder of Brandywine Glassworks in Putney, Vermont. His work includes elegant vases, perfume bottles, paperweights, and sculptural pieces, with a signature focus on veiled silver glass and delicate bubble patterns.

Inspired by the natural world and the beauty of molten glass, Robert's work has been exhibited nationwide since 1977 and is featured in galleries and private collections across the country. A master craftsman, he continues to create one-of-a-kind pieces and commissions while remaining deeply committed to the artistry and tradition of handblown glass.

Karen’s experience is in high fire stoneware. She teaches pottery at Brattleboro Clayworks. Karen loves to explore earthy colored glazes and decoration techniques. She is inspired by the natural beauty of her neighborhood in the mountains and lake near her home in Wilmington, VT.

Sam is a southern VT potter making whimsical, yet functional pottery pieces, such as cups with straw holes, mugs, ashtrays & plates, often using bright colors and playful patterns.
