Windham Hill Designs
Sue Coniglio’s journey into ceramics is a fusion of childhood nostalgia and a passion for nurturing creativity. Growing up near her Grandparents farm in Windham, Vermont, she found inspiration in the simple joys of working with clay. These formative experiences laid the foundation for her later artistic endeavors. After dedicating over two decades to early childhood education, Sue transitioned more formally into ceramics. This shift reflects her commitment to creativity, whether in young minds or her own artistic pursuits. Operating her studio from home in East Dover allows Sue to share her expertise with others while continuing to pursue her passion for creating functional yet whimsical ceramic pieces.
Sue’s dedication to her craft shines through every aspect of her work, from the meticulous design process, to the careful selection of materials. By using stoneware clay, and food-safe glazes, she ensures that every piece not only exudes charm but also meets practical needs. Through her art, Sue continues to channel the spirit of her childhood and inspire others to explore their own creative potential.
